Speakers to include: Torri Smith, artist and designer at Rossetti; Laura Eagin, founder of Anita Expert; Architect and lead designer at Three Squared Inc. Breck Crandell and Justin Dunn, founder and CEO of Increase Branding and Media.DCDT Talk kicks off its 2019 series with a focus on what it’s like to live the Freelance Life. How do creative freelancers make it work?

Lawrence Technological University’s Detroit Center for Design + Technology (DCDT) Design Incubator hosts  DCDT TALK, a creative economy-focused speaker seminar and workshop series, from April-October 2019. It is meant to reach and support new and growing creative businesses in Detroit. In 2019 DCDT Talk will be focused on the design community. For those seeking resources and guidance as they build a business in Detroit, a selection of five DCDT TALK programs will be presented courtesy of the Hudson Webber Foundation and in partnership with its Design Incubator programs DCDT CoWork and Woodward + Willis, a student-led design studio.
