The third and final commercial tenant of the former Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe space in Detroit will be Bakersfield, a restaurant chain offering Mexican-inspired street fare.

Mike Essian, vice president of American Community Developers Inc., owner of the building, said Bakersfield will open in the northwest corner of the building in a 4,000-square-foot, first-floor space in early 2017. The building is on Woodward Avenue at Watson Street between the Midtown and Brush Park neighborhoods.

Bakersfield will join existing tenants Grey Ghost Detroit and New Order Coffee Roasters. Grey Ghost opened in late July and New Order Coffee Roasters is set to open in December.
