Major new high-rise, mixed-use project announced for Midtown Detroit

"A major new development called The Mid that would include two new towers in Detroit's Midtown
district was announced Thursday.

A development partnership called 3750 Woodward Avenue LLC announced plans for its mixed-use
development on a 3.8-acre site along Woodward Avenue. Plans call for a boutique hotel, luxury
condominiums, co-living housing, multifamily housing, retail space, parking and a variety of public
spaces, according to the group's media material.

With a total investment estimated at $310 million, the initial phase of The Mid is slated to open to the
public in December 2020."
